The 2025 President's Meeting of Eklore Management School (Pau Business School) in France Concluded Successfully
On May 17, Loic Harriet (born in 1984), the youngest doctoral supervisor-level principal in France and the principal of Éklore School of Management, visited Shanghai to engage in in-depth exchanges with MBA/EDBA faculty in China.

At the thank-you luncheon, Principal Loick Harriet delivered a speech outlining the key directions for future talent development under the trend of globalized education. He emphasized two core areas: first, the integration of strategic vision and local practice. This involves cultivating students' ability to grasp international business trends and formulate cross-regional strategies, while also strengthening their understanding of the characteristics of the Chinese market to achieve synergy between global strategy and local operations; second, agile decision-making and risk response. Faced with uncertainties such as economic fluctuations and public crises, students need the ability to rapidly iterate strategies, improving risk management and emergency response efficiency through building resilient organizations and utilizing digital tools.
New Student Enrollment Ceremony
During the afternoon orientation ceremony, Principal Harriet personally presented each student with their admission offer and a carefully prepared French-style college gift box. The gift box contained not only an elegant notebook and pen printed with the school logo, but also a polo shirt bearing the school's emblem. Each item embodies the school's unique culture and its expectations for the new students. This heartfelt gift is not only a commemorative gift for enrollment but also a precious testament to the start of their future learning journey. We thank the principal for welcoming each new student in such a special way.

The students also presented the principal with gifts imbued with Chinese cultural characteristics, conveying their sincere welcome to the principal's visit. This two-way exchange of sentiments not only added warmth to the enrollment ceremony but also became a special testament to the bond between teachers and students, marking the beginning of their future learning journey.
Masterclass
Principal Harriet, a doctoral supervisor, personally delivered the first in-person course for the DBA students. As a new starting point for their academic pursuits, this course, drawing upon the principal's profound academic background and industry experience, provided a high-level platform for knowledge exchange. The principal shared insights on the theme of "Digitalization and Educational Innovation." He used the global trend of digital transformation in education as a starting point, combining case studies of the application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data analytics in the education field to deeply analyze how digitalization is reshaping teaching models and talent cultivation systems. Simultaneously, the principal shared his institution's practical experience in curriculum innovation and cross-regional educational collaboration. Through a combination of theory and practice, he provided students with highly inspiring intellectual stimulation and a feast of knowledge. The students present expressed that they had gained a new understanding and reflection on educational transformation and business development in the digital age.

The Q&A session was particularly engaging. The principal responded positively to popular questions regarding courses combining business management and psychology, and study abroad programs in France, promising to quickly prepare study abroad plans to fulfill students' expectations of experiencing French classrooms firsthand. This meeting with the principal was packed with valuable information and left everyone wanting more!

It is worth noting that in the future DBA program at Ék1ore School of Management, some core modules will continue to be taught in person by Principal Harriet. At the end of the event, all teachers and students took a group photo, capturing this meaningful moment and making it a precious memory of the exchange activity.
